I adore this post, and the creativity it’s wrapped in. Perhaps you should subtitle your post, “what I do with the Sunday newspaper…”
Byron Katie says it best I think. If you want to have a perfect relationship, then BE the change you wish to see. If I say I value deep connection in my friendships, then I have to be that, generate that. As I shift, others shift as a result.
It’s physics, really, isn’t it? Everything in relationship to everything else?
I love Byron Katie’s work too, Lisa, and it’s great that you’ve referenced her here…perfect, really. She has done such a lovely job of taking the idea of complex self-work and distilled it down to its essence.
I wish all organizations pushing change agendas would consider these ideas too. I’ve had the good fortune to assist some that do and would love to see a few more…
